- The ConEd integration utilizes ConEd’s third-party portals to enroll end-user accounts to access utility data and does not require the end user’s ConEd credentials to log in through the customer portal.
- All customers will have their own ConEd third-party portals, and each customer portal can enroll up to 1000 accounts.
- If a customer needs to enroll more than 1000 ConEd accounts, we will create multiple third-party portals for the customer, and the system will automatically route accounts to these portals.
How to Connect a ConEd Account via Connect: (After creating Third-Party Portal)
- Kindly type in Con Edison or ConEd into the provider search field
- Please enter the 11-digit ConEd account number into the "Account Number" and "Confirm Account Number" fields and submit the information via Urjanet Connect.
- Form validation checks the following: Only numerical characters are allowed (no letters or special characters) and both fields must match exactly.
- Arcadia’s system enrolls the account number in the tenant’s third-party portal, triggering an email from ConEd to the end user/account holder.
- If the end user does not approve within one week, the system resends the email. After two retries (three total attempts), if no action is taken, the account status changes to "ACCESS_ISSUE"
- Once the end user approves data access, Our system retrieves the account’s statement PDFs. The account status is updated to "OK - NO_ACTION_REQUIRED."
